When you’re eligible for both Medicare and your employer-sponsored plan, there are many factors to consider when deciding what to do. Some of these factors include the cost of your employer coverage, the type of coverage you have, and whether or not it is “creditable” for drug coverage.
Depending on your group coverage, you may be able to delay your enrollment in Medicare. However, we should definitely discuss this in detail before you make any decisions about what you will do.
